SQA Approved Qualifications

At Step-Up, we’ve worked hard to secure approval to deliver a variety of Vocational & HN options to fit everyone’s needs. Whether you want to improve existing skills or expand your horizons, you’ve come to the right place. Step-Up offers SVQ qualifications in Social Services (Children & Young People) & Healthcare (non-Clinical) disciplines in conjunction with Skills Development Scotland which includes funding under the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme - or privately at a reasonable cost if funding is not available.

Step-Up also delivers the Degree level PDA in Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 9* which was developed especially for those childcare professionals who wish to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as Childcare Nursery Managers.
